Entrance Requirements:

In-district students will take the Math and ELA placement exams in the Spring and demonstrate proficiency in the Power Standards for both ELA and Math. Students who have already been identified gifted or talented, or who have scored highly proficient in Math and/or ELA, or any combination of the above, including teacher recommendations if applicable, automatically qualify for the program.  

Out-of-district students will take the placement exam at KMS and data will be reviewed for proficiency in the Power Standards of both ELA and Math. Students who have already been identified gifted or talented, or who have scored highly proficient in Math and/or ELA, or any combination of the above, including teacher recommendations, automatically qualify for the program. Please provide documentation to KMS.
